EXPOSITION | Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for personal prayer each Tuesday from after the morning Mass (normally 9.15am) until Benediction at 5.00pm. | PRAYER 2009 | Each Tuesday, on a monthly rotation, we meet at 7.30am to 8.30am for prayer. People from the various Churches are involved. You can stay for 5 minutes or for the whole session, whichever you like. During March we meet at the Salvation Army citadel. All are welcome. | JOURNEY IN FAITH | Journey in Faith is the name given each year to a series of talks on the Catholic Faith for those interested in learning more with a view to making a commitment; or those who wish for a refresher course; or those who have grown a bit stale etc etc. Anyone and everyone is welcome. There are no strings attached, no cohersion,just a series of talks and thoughts about the faith, starting from the beginning (God and all that )and open to discussion. 7.00pm | ST PATRICKS FEAST DAY | Our patronal feast falls on Wednesday 17t March.
We will have our usual celebration of Mass at 10.00am to which all the school children are invited and as many parishioners who can make it. The Mass is always a wonderful happy occasion. After the Mass the children will return to school for a party and fun & games. The parishioners attending the Mass are invited to stay on after Mass in the Parish Centre for a (free!!) buffet lunch, and perhaps an Irish Coffee !
We will celebrate St Patricks Day with a hoolie on Saturday 13th March in the Parish Centre - when our great friends | REQUIEM - Wednesday 12 noon | There will be a Requiem Mass for Tony Curry who has died aged 44 yrs. Tony is an old St. Patrick''''s local lad and did his schooling here and later at Christ the King. Sadly he has been ill for over 18 months and this finally led to his death. He leaves his wife Kerry and his daughter Samantha aged 10 years. Keep him and them in your prayers. |
