PARISH CENTRE IMPROVEMENTS

Detailed plans and photographs for the improvements to the approach to and entrance of our Parish Centre are displayed in the Church narthex. Fr Tom has also provided individual sheets explaining the work and asking for our support in financing the project. You will find these on the table in front of the display. We hope to have a whole series of fundraising events, which will also provide some fun for everyone in the parish community. If we are to raise the neccesary monies we might as well enjoy it. See what takes your fancy, and volunteer to give a hand !

MURDER MYSTERY EVENING

The Harlequins Group from Freckleton are coming to put on one of their magical Murder Mystery Evenings on Friday 3rd September at 7.30pm. It is entitled SCHOOL REUNION - MATES MEET AGAIN and it promises to be a fun-packed evening. Tickets are £4 each.

CABARET EVENING

Another Cabaret Evening to help raise funds for the new grounds imrpovement scheme has been arranged through the kindness of the Knights of St Columba on Saturday 25th September 7.30 featuring two wonderful local acts: Steve OMalley with his accordian (Irish, C&W) , and Ritchie Gale superb Guitar Vocalist. There will be a raffle, Irish Bingo etc. Tickets £7.00 from the Parish Office. Complimentary sandwich supper.

AUTUMN PRIZE BINGO

Wednesday 15th September Maureen is putting on a special Autumn Prize Bingo in the Parish Centre. There will be major superb prizes. Tickets will be available in due course at £2 each which includes your first bingo book free. There will also be a flyer for £100. Maureen needs some more prizes. Anything you can spare would be gratefully received.
